The School completed the fifth year of its existence on the 3rd instant and I am glad to say that its growth and success during the first quinquennial period justify the large sums of money spent on its buildings and extensive grounds. For two or three years. it was uphill work and but slow progress; in 1933 the annual report predicted that a decade would pass before the school took a leading place in the local educational world. The movement of the Fortuguese com- munity from Hong Kong to Kow- loon, the healthy situation and pleasant surroundings of the College buildings and to some ex- rent the good results obtained in the external examinations are the chief causes of its rapid advance- mtent...
