Against Japanese Aggression

Two representatives of the new spirit in China, Professor Tao, formerly Dean of the South-east University of China, and Miss Non Tsai, who was delegate to the Stu- dents' International Congress at Geneva, spoke recently at a meet- ing of the Union of Democratic Control, Mr. Bertrand Russell pre- siding.

Professor Tao, arter bringing a heavy indictment against the Ja- panese maladministration in Man- churia, said that attempts were now being made to form a Nation- al Liberation Front in China against Japanese aggression, call- ing together all people, regardless of political party or religious national Associations for liberation had been formed by farmers, workers, teachers, stu- dents, and merchants, and thou sands of soldiers from several of the armies had formed their own associationė
