In America the rate was un- changed at 45.1/2 for Spot.

Winnipeg. Canada. It is well established, according to ex- perts, that the Canadian wheat surplus will have practically dis- appeared at the end of the pre- "sent crop year, July 31, 1837. In this way. the heavy carryover of the last few years which has been a cloud on the market will be re- moved.
The carryover of wheat in Ca- nada on July 31 last was 100 mil- lion bushels, the additional wheat in store in the United States being for the most part under contract of sale
in that country. This year's crop, including both winter and spring wheat was 233 million, bushels, making a total, available supply of 342 million bushels. From this must be deducted about 100 million bushels required for domestic uses. Of this 100 million about 35 million are required for seed and the rest. for flour and feed.
