On October $ at 4 pm., Ah Ngel took her to the address of the first defendant, ostensibly to learn washing and Ironing preparatory to procuring a job in the Colony. At 8 p.m.. on the same evering the second defendant paid them a visit and induced Tang Tim to re- turn to her place.
. MONEY RECEIVED While there Tang Tim was in a rear cubicle with a strange man who fohabited with her for about half an hour. She testified that she had never slept with a man before, and Dr. G. H. Thomas cor- roborated her statement.
On his departure, the man gave her $2.20 and Chan Chan asked for $1.20 which was given her. The girl evinced considerable sur- prise when she was given so Uttle money.
She returned to that address on several occasions and although she did not sleep with any other person sue

He also submitted that there was no evidence of the two women having controlled, influen- ced or directed the young girl in anly way.
