Swatow, Douglas Wharto yesterday. showed a fairly high tonnage movement, a large pro- portion of which being made up by British and Japanese ships.
The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 3,350 tons, with British steamers carrying 2,913 tons.,
Through cargo for porta be- yond the Colony amounted to 32,051 tons, of which 12,665 tons were carried by British steamers.
Asiatic deck passengers entering Into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday were 2843, of which 1,073 were trom British steamers.
There were altogether twenty- two arrivals, of which ten were, of British registry. the remainder being of other nationalties, while of the 23 departures, nine were British ships, the rest being "of Par- cther different countries,
