Six Shots Fired At Random

TWO PEDESTRIANS INJURED

A daring robbery was committed last night in the Wanchai district when four unknown men entered a money exchange at Hennessy Road, near the Bowrington Canal, at about 9 pm and after firing six random shots at a foki in the shop attic, got away with a number of Hong Kong banknotes, sald to be worth $400.

Detectives from the No. 2 Police Station were on the scene almost immediately after the incident.

From enquiries it was revealed that entry was made by three men' through the main door, while a fourth came in by the side en trance. One of the party pro- duced a pistol and held up the shop accountant,, while another robber went to the shop counter and proceeded to ransack it.

KONG HOTEL

American Dance Team

According to their advance pus licity which was distributed yester day, Eula Hoff and Bob Burnett must be a remarkably fine dancing

act.

They come from America by way of the Park Hotel Shanghai, and they are due to make their arst appearance at the Hong Kong Hotel on November 7.

They seem to be very versatile. and they make a feature of nation- al dances.

Eula Hoff is reported to be t- tractive for other reasons than dancing--she is superbly gowned and her coiffure is stated to be a revelation.
