Year's Activities Reviewed

The thirteenth annual report of the Kowloon Chess Club states:- COLONY CHAMPIONSHIP

The Open Chess Championship was formerly "run by the now de- funct Hong Kong Chess Club and was revived in 1928 by, the Kow- loon Chess Club. It has been held annually ever since. After fruit- less efforts in past years a Joint Committee for the management of of the Championship was formed this year consisting of two repre- sentatives of the Victoria Club and two or the Kowloon Chess Club and one joint Honor- ary Secretary and Treasurer. Two Inter-Section hockey tour- nament matches were played yea- terday afternoon.
