The milling capacity of the Bea- guet Consolidated Mining Com pany will be increased to 1.000 tons a day within a few months AF. Duggleby, vice-president and head of the technical staff of the Benguet interests, announced re- cently...

Benguet now handle about 800 tons a day; the increase in capa city will be made gradually, so that there will be no interruption of operations, Some of the equip ment has already been ordered Mr. Duggleby said.

MORE LOW GRADE The higher capacity will enable the Benguet plant to treat more low grade ore it will increase the total production somewhat. of course, but purpose of the expar- sion is to make possible the mill- ng of a higher tonnage of low grade.
