Monday, Sept. 28. Silver prices rose over the week-end to the extent of 1/4 for both
deliveries, the quotations being 19 3/4 for Ready and For- ward. Silver advices
reported America is having bought, India and speculators operated both ways. The market closed steady, American Silver no quotation.
The London market was closed but brokers" indicated 495. The New York rate was quoted at 496 3/4.
