which was said to have been lost on the Star Ferry on the Hang Kong side when he felt his pocket being picked. The incident oc- curred on September 5.about 8.15 3.m.

The wallet is of black leather and contained the 'sum of $40 and a Ferry season ticket.

Nothing was stolen from the house, and at an early hour this morning the police arrested Chinese woman whom they allege was in possession of the revolver, used by the bandit who ared the shot at Leung Ban.

When this paper went to press the police were still vigorously prosecuting their investigations, and further arrests are expected to-day.
