Macfadyen, at the Kow- loon Magistracy yesterday. when an inquest was held into the death of Wong Ying. 52, a rag- sicker who died on August 3, at the So Uk Village after he had partaken of some of that fish.

Dr. D. A. Smith. of the Kowloon Hospital, deposed that before the arrival of Wong Ying, he had died in the ambulance.
At a post-mortem held the next day, he found that the deceased was a chronic oplum addict, and in a most undernourished condi- tion. There were no external signs of violence.
The post-mortem findings were consistent with death with fish poisoning and not the ordinary food poisoning · known 4.3 pio- maine. because of adema of the lungs and congestion of the kid neys.
