After the minutes of the last meeting had been read and con- Brmed, the financial position of the Associanon the end of its first shouting season. was discussed, It was pointed out that the "Bisley" Meeting ended with a moderate balance in favour of the Associa+ tion, and that further sources of revenue were obtained from the sale of Score Books and ride ac- cessories. while the advertisement revenue from the Association's "monthly "Bulletin" not only paid for all expenses in connection with the usual weekly Spoon and "Prac- tice Shoots, but totalled such an amount as to enable a contribution to be made to the Building Fund. The Interim Balance Sheet dis- closed, a profit on the year's work- ing of nearly $3.000, and it was announced that

an anonymous donor had offered a contribution of $500 to the Building Fund in connection with the proposed Club- house, providing the work was put In hand at once, and that he had also guaranteed a further sum of a similar amcunt by the New Year Other donations In addition were likely to be forthcoming in the near future. The members of the Council were unanimously in favour of a contract being entered into forthwith for the erection of this building and Building Sub- Committee was formed to make all

of the Hon. Secretary. who had compiled this book.

The afation of the Hong Kong Nuval Volunteer Force was formal- ly approved under the terms agreed to by both codies, and which have already been incorporated in the Rules now appearing in the Year- Book."

A proposal to alter the financial year from January-December to September-August was not proved, but it was agreed that new members joining between Septem- ber 1st and" December 31st would be regarded as having paid their subscription until December 31st of the year following.

A letter was read from H.E.. stating that it was his desire that Commander-in-Chief. China. Fleet, the Fleet should participate in the Prize Meeting to be held in 1937.
