An early start will be made on the construction of a sister ship to the Queen Mary following the decision of the Government, "announced in the House of Commons yesterday, to afford financial assistance.

Mr. Mortison, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, informed the House that the Government had agreed that the order should be placed with John Brown and Company of Clydebank.
