Freight and Asiatic Passengers Returns
(BY LONGSHOREMAN), During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday, the freight returns, received from the Har- bour Office showed. & moderate tonnage movement.
The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 4,434 tops with British steamers carrying 375 tons
Through cargo for ports be- yozd the Colony amounted to 11,784 tons,
of which 813 tons were carried by British steamers.
Asiatic deck passengers entering Into the Colony doring the 24 hours ended at 9 am. yesterday were 1,339.
of which 339 were from British steamers.
There were altogether eight ar rivals, of which only one was of British registry, the remainder
