The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 10.841 tons. with British steamers carrying 1,760 tons

Through cargo for porta be- Food, the Colony amounted to 18.730 tons of which 5,415 tons were carried by British steamers. Asiatic deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday were 949, of which 903 were from British steamers.
