Mr. Eric Mitchell Addresses
The Rotary Club
VERY FINE INVESTMENT
A bright sad instructive talk on "Modern\Life In surance" was delivered by Rotarian E. J. R. Mitchell, O. B. E., before members of the Hong Kong Rotary Club at their weekly tiffin held at the Hong Kong Hotel Roof Garden yesterday.
Rotarian Mitchell's address was punctuated with laughter, He told many amusing stories and also describ- ed the functions of an insurance agent, different types of policies and annuities and added that modern life insur• " ance was used very largely to protect business interests.
People in Great Britain, remarked the speaker, had in the past few years become very life insurance con. scious. Life insurance was a very fine investment, be- cause it was not subject to depreciation or any violent fluctuation of capital.
