Freight and Asiatic Passengers Returns
. (BY LONGSHOREMAN). During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am yesterday, the freight returns, received from the Har. bour Office, showed a moderate tonnage movement.

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 4.981 tons, with British steamers carrying 1.461 tons
Through cargo for "parts be- yond the Colony" "amounted
12,928 tons, of which 8.399 tons were carried by British steamers. Astatic deck passengers entering Into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday were 1,928, of which 797 from British steamers.
There were altogether only ten arrivals, of which Tour were of British registry. the remainder being of other nationalities, while of the fourteen departures. 4 were British ships, the rest being of
