London, July 11. By his appointment as Naval Attache at Berlin Captain T. H. Troubridge 19 toslowing in the footsteps of his father, "the late` Admiral Sir Ernest. Troubridge,, who was Naval Attache at Vienna, Madrid and Tokyo. In 1904 Sir Ernest Troubridge then a captain, was attached to the suite of King Edward VII during his Majesty's visit to Kiei, and received from the German Emperor the Prussian Order of the Red Eagle.

JUNE FIGURES

During the month of June, 1938 imports of merchandise amounted to a total of $37.0 millions (£2.4 millions), as compared with 3264 millions (£3.0 millions) in June, 1935: a dollar increase of 40.2 per cent, and a sterling decrease of 20.0 per cent. whilst exports totalled $29.9 millions (£1.9 millions), as compared with $19.1 millions (£2,2 millions); a dollar increase of $6.5 per cent, and a sterling decrease of 13.6 per cent.
