INQUEST OF SEAMAN'S
DEATH CONTINUED
Car Started Suddenly,
States Witness
Hearing was continued yesterday at the Kowloon Magistracy, In an important inquest arising from an accident on the velli- cular ferry. Man Kim on the evening of July 3 when a Chinese seaman was knocked down by motor car No. 1318, driven by learner-driver, Mrs. M. B. Griffiths, of No. 283 Prince Edward Road, and met his death later from injuries he had received."

The accident occurred when the Man Klm had docked at the Jordan Road wharf. The deceased, named Fung Kuen, 10, was engaged with another seaman in lifting a board at the front of the ferry to allow cars to go off when he was knocked down and crushed.
