CLEANER STANDARD OF PLAY

Favourable comment was passed by Mr. M. T. Johnsori in his report at the Annual General Mesting of the Hong Kong Foot- ball Association, on the improvement in the cleanliness of the play in the League towards the end of the latter year, which was inspired by an appeal made by the then President, Sir Thomas" Southern.

The meeting was held in the rooms of the Sports Club and was attended by members of all Clubs, Supporting Mr. Johnson, who took the Chair in the absence of a" President, were Messrs. H. H. Snaith (Hon. Secretary), W. L. Alexander and Comdr. C. D. Arbuthnot, N.
