Supplementary estimates totalling €19,359,000 were issued this morning for the Army, Navy and Air Force. The total is made up as follows: Navy £1,059,000; Army 6,680,000; Air Force £11,700,000: Royal Ordnance Factories £293,700,
'It is proposed to augment the Na val programme for 1936, Two additional cruisers of approximately 5,000 tons are to be bellt, making seven cruisers in all. One leader and eight des- troyers are to be added, making eighteen vessels in all.
An additional atreraft carrier is included and four addition- al submarines, three of which will be of patrol type and one of smaller dimensions, are to be "bulit, This makes eight sub- marines "in all.
