Madrigal and Company. Mani- la, according to dispatches re- ceived here. have purchased the s.s. New Mathilda, Captain En- gracie Losa. Hirst officer in the emplay of this company, and a crew of 22 arrived here on the Empress, of Asia to take over the ship and sail her to Manila. The vessel is scheduled to leave Hong Kong er Manila on July 18, alriving there two days later. Upon her arrival in Manila, the ship is expected to be drydocked for overhauling and remodelling. She will then be placed in the coastwise trade.
