Rotarians renulse toat there are now eight play-grounds which have come into being through a movement started in this Club by one or two energetic members? The special grant voted by the Rotary Club for three years provided the means for launching the scheme and 1 suppose there is no member who grudges what has been givet to the Playgrounds Association in view of the vast number of child- ren and young people making full use of the facilities now available. In this connection I hope that the suggestion for a Hong Kong Men- orial to King George V will not be allowed to languish until thoughts of the Coronation banish King George from our minds. I cannot $12 20think of a more suitable memorial than the provision of more play- grounds and an endowment for their maintenance.
