The Craigengower Cricket Club, the senior Law Bowls League Champions continued in their winning rein last week when they beat the K.C.C, by ten shots. and their return game with the Club de Recreio to-day will be watched by the Bowling Green with anxiety, as a defeat of the Champions by the Recreio nieans a step nearer to the ladder for the Bowling Green.

For the third year in succession, Fred J. Perry, the English tennis

men's singles at Wimbledon.

In the easiest possible manner he defeated the German champion, Baron G. von Cramm, in straight sets. losing only two games throughout the entire match.

Final scores were 6-1. 6-1, 6-0. Perry is thus the only player who

has won the Wimbledon title three

years in succession since the war.
