WATERFRONT

Freight and Asiatic Passengers Returns

[BY LONGSHOREMAN), During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am yesterday, the freight returns received from Harbour Once showed a fairly high ton- nage movement, a large proportion of which being made up by German ships.

The total tonnage of 'general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony

tons. was 18.597

with British steamers earrying 1,636 tons.

Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 12,517 tons, of which 5,873 tons were carried by British steamers.

Asiatic deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 24 bours ended at 9.00 a.m. yesterday were 1,050, of which 589 were from British steamers.

were altogether sixteen arrivals, of which eight were of remainder British registry, the being of other nationalities, while of the ten departures. atx were British ships, the rest being of ather different countries. Particu- lars as follows:-
