PLANE LANDS ON SHIP'S DECK
Unique Experience For Normandie
London, June 22.
A curious accident occurred in Cowes Road. where a Royal Air Force
seaplane made a forced landing on the deck of the glant French ner, Normandie..

The plane, by a marvellous stroke of luck, rested upright and was not seriously damaged. It perdhed
on the forecastle deck..
The seaplane apparently got loto an air pocket above the Norman- die's funnels and narrowly avoided being sucked down into one of them.'
