A particularly mean theft was recounted before Mr. W. Schofield at the Central Court on Saturday. Leung Chau, 21. a carpenter was charged witn the theft of a lea- ther purse containing $21.30 and a key, the property of Tang Chun, a married woman working at the Sam Tick building contractors, Hennessey Road. This money was the savings of the complainant and was all that she had.
