Mr. C. B. Hosking (Hon. Bec.) said he had received a private September or October would be a letter, from Shanghai stating that

It was also agreed that Mr. Hosking should write the Shang- hal Association in August to let them know, when the Hong Kong team would be leaving.

HONG KONG RIFLE
ASSOCIATION
Mid-Week Spoon And Practice Shoot
The usual mid-week Spoon and Practice Shoot took place on Wednesday afternoon on the Army Ranges at Kowloon City, when in spite of the heat, nearly forty members attended..
The high temperature, "glare." 84 coupled with a fluctuating wind brought scores down considerably, and it is obvious that many mem- bers require considerable practice they are to become really efficient on a really hot and bright day, if all-round shots. In this connec- ion it must not be forgotten that it is seldom that the Imperial Meeting at Bisley passes without two or more days having a shade temperature of well over 90 degrees (F) and although the humidity at home is negligible to, that experi- enced in this Colony, glare and mirage, as well as haze, have all to be contended with on the ranges on Bisley Common.
The I.R.C. "D" team defeated the Army "D" team at Sookunpoo yesterday in the Tennis League by the score of six sets to three.. Sergt. McAlinder and Sergt..
