The attendance of the leader of the French Trade Union - Associa- tion, Jouhaux and other Trade Unionists at a meeting of the Trade Unton Association of the Canton of Geneva which was to have been held here an Wednes- day, was prohibited by the Justice and" Police Department of the Canton on grounds of safety and neutrality of the nation.

The French Trade Unionist had been invited to speak on the strike movement in France.
