London, June 8." The death occurred" to-day of Mr. James Jardine Bell- Irving, who was formerly a partner in Messrs. Jardine, Matheson, Hong Kong-Reu- ter.

Born in Makerstoun, Scotland, on December 24, 1859, Mr. Bell- Irving was the son of the late Mr. John Bell-Irving of White Hill.
