Share Wire- Jess Service since February 1, 1926. shall be amended, This service was organized after the Coastguard was transferred to the Board of Trade and the Customs and Excise. the Navy retaining only certain signal and wireless stations on shore.

In future chief officers are to be promoted to the rank of seritor chle? officer on attaining 10 years seniority in the Service. provided they are deserving and their records "are satisfactory. A new scale of pay provides for 14s. 6d. a day for senior chief officers on promotion, 15s, 4d. a day after two years, and 16s. 4d. after four years. Chief officers are to rank with.
