WATERFRONT
Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns -
"(BY LONGSHOREMAN).
The freight returns. received from the Harbour Office during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 a.m. yesterday, showed a moderate ton- nage movement.
The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony WAS 11,397 tons, with British
carrying 3.828 Steamers tons.
Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 13,824 tons, of which 4.230 tons were carried by British steamers
Astatic deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 21 hours, ended at 9.00 am yesterday were 262, of which 230 were from British steamers.
There were altogether eleven arrivals, of which six were of British registry, the remainder being of other nationalities, while of the six departures, three were British ships, the rest being of other different countries. culars as follows:- Nationality

The Butterfield and Swire's sa" "Agamemnon" " will arrive from Shanghai this morning at ten o'clock.
The m.s. "Tisadane" will leave for Bali and Java via Manila and Macassar on 26th May at 10 a.in. Tender leaves Blake Pier at 9 a.m. Police Pier (Kowloon) at 9.15 am. (Subject to alteration without notice).
The R.M.S. "Empress of Canada” arrived at Kobe on the 17th May (Sunday) at 11.30 am. and left Kobe on the same day at 6.00 pm She is due at Shanghal to-day (Tuesday) at 11.00 am and leaves Shanghal for Hong Kong and Manila on the same day at 7.00 p.m.
