Yesterday saw the "Bisley Competition well ander weigh. This was the second day of the Competition, and some very It was estimated that no less excellent shooting was to be seen. than three hundred civilians, competitors and friends were on the -range to watch the shootlar. Though the full honours of the defence methods go to Wheeler and Keating, mention must be made of Hynes who, brought in to take the place of Sid Strange, played a very good game. The Club forwards strove against a strong defence without. much success. for their raggedness o play in front of the goal was un- availing. Pearce and Skinner were good at times. Eliot was too well covered and Bickford shone in spasms which were too few.

Saturday's Lawn Bowls results came out very much as ex- pected. C.C.C. "A" won against Club de Recreio thanks mainly to 'Basa's rink which had a 19 shots margin over F. X. Silva's four.. Both the other two C.C.C's. rinks lost.
Ciell Service created a mlid surprise by defeating the Kowloon Bowling Green while in the Junfor game between the C.C.C. and Hong Kong Electric, the Happy Valley Club was un- able to force the issue and had to be content with a point. The Indians won their match against Kowloon Dock, while the Kowloon Cricket Club had to bow to the Police.
Adam Holland's four (3. G. Meyer, J. Henson and M. J. Hen- derson) recorded a seven at the ninth head against J. Hollidge's rink, bat, despite following it up with a three for a 15-8 lend, they lost by two shots. The seven is the highest of the season.
Sixes were common, being recorded by the following skipa: A. Hyde-Lay, A. R. Dallah, S. Leran, C. H. Basto and G. K. F. Thompson, all of whom won, and U. M. Omar and W, H. Huskett. both of whom lost.
