Passengers Returns
(BY LONGSHOREMAN) During the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday, the fraght returns, received from the Harbour Oface show a fairly high tonnage movement, a large proportion of which being contributed by British stelps.
The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony Was 17.198 bons, with British steamers carrying 10,227 tons.
Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 19.887 tons, of which 9.579 tons were carried by British steamers.
Asiatic deck passengers entering into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at "9 am yesterday which "820 were were 2,518, of from British steamers.
There were altogether 18 ar- rivals, of which 6 were of British registry. the remainder being of other nationalities, while of the BS-15 departures," four were British ships, the rest being of other different countries. Particulars as follows:- Nationality British American French Dutch
