An interim: report issued by the Statistical Office of the Im ports and Exports Department on the trade of the Colony for February, 1936, 'states' that imports of merchandise amounted to. a total of $30.3 millions (£20 millions), (as compared with $28,8 millions (£2.6 millions) in February, 1935; a dollar increase of 5.2% and a sterling decrease of 251%%; whilst exports totalled $24.9 militons (£16 millions), as compared with $20.6 millions (£1.8 millions); a dollar increase of 20.9% and a sterling de- crease of 11.1%.
