A communique issued after the meeting of the Locarno Powers. ether than. Germany, in London to-day, states that it was unant- mously recognised that the re- occupation of the demilitarized zone by Germany constituted a clear violation of Articles 42 and 48 of the Versailles Treaty and of the Treaty of Locarno,

The full text of the communique and report concerning the sugges- tlon which the British Foreign Secretary has caused to be rade to the German Government, with the view to easing the internation- al situation, and the reply of the German Government thereto, wil be included in transmission 23,30 G.M.T.
