Joe E. Brown's latest Warner Bros. picture, "Alibi Ike." opening this coming Sunday at the Queen's Theatre, is heralded as the most hilarious fun in which the famous star has yet appeared. The story was written by the late Ring Lardner, who probably knew base- ball players better than any other author. It's a pegnant whining comedy of baszbak and blondes.
