WOMAN BOUND OVER
Wong Xwan, aged 32, married woman, appeared before Mr. Mat- ladyen at the Kowloon Maglaracy yesterday morning and was bound over in the sum of $50 to keep the peace lor a period of one year, fo making a false report of a robbery on January 14.
Detective-Sub-Inspector R, Cun- ningham prosecuted while Mr. M. A. da Silva appeared for the defen- dant,
Foo Yuk-ching. Police interpre tor said in evidence that he was ut the station when defendan came and made her report.
The case for the prosecution then closed, and as his Worship held that there was a case for de- fendant to answer, defendant gave eyidence.
She stated that her husband was an employee of the Gas Company. During the past four years witness had been collecting rent occasion- ally for a rent collector, and dur- ing those times there was never any shortage of money handed in. On the day in question witness received two $10 notes. and gave in change 31. Those "riotas red coloured.
