FAREWELL PARTY AT CRAIGENGOWER C.C.

MESSRS. BRADBURY AND BEER HONOURED

High Tributes Paid

Appreciation of the good work rendered to the Craigengower Cricket Club by their President Mr. B. W. Bradbury and Mr. Harold Beer was amply testified yesterday evening by members of the Club when the two gentlemen together with their wives were "guests of honour" at a Dinner Dance held at the Club's pre- mises which were tastefully decorated for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs Bradbury are leaving the Colony on furlough to-morrow while Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beer are leaving the Colony for good on March 7.

Mr. U. M. Omar, the Hon. Secretary of the Club who presided said in the course of his speech that the farewell was tempered with keen disappointment and smeere regrets, as their departure (Mr. and Mrs. Beer's) from the Colony on March 7 will mean a great loss to the Club loss which it will be bard to replace. Tributes were also paid to the men's prowess on the field of sports.
