On arrival at the cemetery, the Sikh Police formed a line opposite the gate, and the remainder of the procession, formed up on efther side of the patch, and remained there until the funeral service, conducted by Dean Trivett, was concluded. The officers of the Fire Brigade saluted as the coffin was borne from the cemetery. chapel The ceremony, at the graveside, also conducted by Dean Trivett, was attended by members of the various units present, a number of whom afterwards lined up and paid their last respects by saluting the grave of the dead, officer.
