LOCAL SOCCER

KOTEWALL CUP CLASH

Good Game Anticipated

(BY "PIVOT")

Local League football after a lapse of a fortnight will once again be in full swing with the return of the victorious Interpart team this morning when a full programme of matches have been arranged for the week-end, culrilnating in the clash between. the Army and the Chinese in the Kotewall Cup to-morrow. The senior games arranged are such that the favourites will come out on top with possibly the Royal Ulster Rifles springing a surprise on South China "B."

Kowloon will be entertaining St. Joseph's College at home and a good game is expected. Many will remember the excellent display put up by Kowloon in their shield match against S. China "A," and if they do strike up the same form St Joseph's College 13 due for a defeat.

The Sheung Shui Steeplechase will see Diogenes making his de- but over big jumps-last meeting he won the Ladies' Hurdles in re Record time, but I fancy he may
