Shanghai, Dec 17. An Important legal question in- volving Section 11 of the Married Woman's Property Act of 1882 was settled by Judge A. G. Mossop, in HM. Supreme Court yesterday, 10swhen he delivered judgment in the case of Mrs. Esther Benjamin v. Mr. A. 8. Kane, administrator of the estate of the late, David Hal Benjamin. By the judgment, claim by Mrs. Benjamin' on an in- surance policy with the Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada was dis- missed, whilst a claim that certain 79/4 | property in Yu Yuen "Road, valued at $80,000, towards the purchase price of which the late. Mr. Ben- jamin contributed $33.549, 70, was hers was upheld
