LONDON BY AIR AND TRAIN
INTERESTING TALK AT
ROTARY TIFFIN
To London via Siberia by air and train, completed in twelve days at a cost of about £63, was the subject of a very interest. Ing talk delivered to local Rotarians and their friends yesterday by Miss Phyllis Brown, School Mistress of the Central British School, at the Roof Garden of the Hong Kong Hotel.
Professor L. Forster, President of the Rotary Club extended a cordial welcome to all visitors, and as it was a Lady's Day, he had much pleasure in introducing Miss Phyllis Brown who was going to address the gathering on the subject entitled "Flying.”

Miss Brown said: This is an ac- count of rhy Journey from Hong Kong to London via Siberia by air and train th.s summer complet in twelve days at a cost of about £65. Now that a regular passen- ger service is in operation between the Far East and Europe the only thing which prevents crdinary people from taking frequent visits to England is the prohibitive price or long distance flying. Last year I travelled on the Trans-Siberta railway taking sixteen days in transit from Hong Kong to Lon- don. It occurred to me at the time that if I could speed up part of the journey by fiying I could t
