A number of blinded and dis- abled ex-soldiers were among those. present at St. Andrew's Garrison Church, Aldershot, yesterday, when Captain Sir Ian Fraser, the blind 50 H.P. With Twelve M.P., unvelled a memorial window to all ranks of the 1st Army Corps who were killed in 1914.

The window, which symbolises peace, is the gift of Lady Halg and her three daughters. It faces one. which the Duke of York unveiled in the church last year in memory of Earl Halg, who was General Officer Commanding at Aldershot before going to France with the British Expeditionary Force 1:1 1914.

Detachments from British Legion branches in the district provided a guard of honour for Lady Haig.

When unveiling the window Sir fan Fraser said that Halg and his men made history early in the war when they stood between us and the enemy, while the nation made ready to defend itself.

At the unvelling. Lady Haig stood beneath the window with Mr. E. H. Sharp, a disabled man employed" at the British Legion poppy factory, who assisted in the unvelling ceremony,
