Saturday, Oct. 19. Ready silver WIS unchanged yesterday but the Forward price dropped 1/16. the quotations being 29 5/16 and and 29 respec- tively. Advices reported America bought. India and China sold. The market closed steady. After the official Axing America bought for spot. while speculators bought 16 higher for forward delivery. In America the rate changed at 651 for spot.

The London/New York cross- rate was lower at 490 and the New York/London rate dropped 1 cent to 4.901
