The Kowloon - Canton Railway regrets any inconvenience caused to local passengers during the unprecedented rush to "Canton on the Double Tenth.

Kowloon Station on that day was surrounded by huge crowds of "potential through passengers and it " was considered by the Management that the only way to "ease" a very difficult situation was to run extra through trains at the expense of the Local Service.
