Craigengower "A" Still Winning

Taikoo Junior Creeping Up

The lawn bowls results in the Senior Division were very much as expected. Craigengower "A" continued. In their win- ning streak by avermhelming the Police by 25 shots, and in- cidentally remained at the head of the league table.

Their nearest rival the Recrélo, regained their lost from by trouncing the Kowloon Docks, while the Kowloon Cricketers had the batter of the Civil Servants. **

The Indians won at home against the Cralgengower. “B”. In the second division the only surprise Wag caused by Taikoo when they defeated the Recreio by 29 shots. By virtue of this victory the Talkoo have" now come up to second position in the table.

In one of the most baseball game since the. com- mencement of the League, the Chinese met and defeated the Japanese by 18 runs to 8 at Caro- line H yesterday.

The Chinese made two runs in the arst inning one of which was a "bomer" by Matty Chang, To this the Japanese could only réply with a single run, being kept in check by the air-tight fielding of the Chinese squad.

The second canto was played with no runs being registered on both sides.

The good fielding of the Japan- ese prevented the Chinese from going ahead in the third mining, and the Japanese made another single to draw level.

Classic Struggle To-day

A match that has been keenly awaited, will take place to-day (weather permitting), when the United Services, Recreation Club, in their original Mixed Doubles League Axture clash with the Chinese. Recreation Club, on the formers ground.

A large gathering was present at the Club House of the Kowloon Golf Club at Kowloon City on Sa- turday night when in place of the annual Gymkhana which they usually hold at the beginning of their golfing season a very enjoy- able supper and smoking concert was held.
