It is notified that His Excellency the Officer Administering the Gov- ernment under instrucions re- ceived from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has appointed Mr. John Bernard Prent's to be a Junior Legal Officer. Mr. Prentis La also appointed to act as Assistant Land Officer and Deputy Registrar of Marriages.

His Majesty the King has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Hon. Mr. W. H. Bell to be an Unofficial Member of the Legis- lative Council, vice Mr. C. GS. Mackie, resigned.
