LAWN BOWLS DRAW
Interesting Games Promised
The draw for the semi final and fourth round of the open pairs and open singles championships respectively were made yesterday and as a result some interesting encounters in the open pairs are promised.
The Duncans are drawn against the Silvas while the 0.0.0. pair meets Eccleshall and Shepherd in the other draw. "
In the first round the Silves met and defeated the Omars, then the Clendennings and now they have have the prospect of entering the final at the expense of the Duncans, The Selvas are playing as well as evcr and with the brillant CG." at the helm their chances are distinctly bright.
The Duncans are known more for their consistency but con- sistency without brilliance cannot be relied upon to pull them through,
M. J. Medina and "J. Cavanagh '} will most probably be the other finalists as from present form they constitute a very formidable pair. Both the C.C.C." men
In irresistible form and their chances of being in the last four are very bright...
