Upset In Lawn Bowls League

JUNIOR LEADERS ALSO BEATEN

"Another surprise was created by the Kowloon Bowling Green in the premier division of the Lawn Bowls League on Saturday when they lowered the coloursof the Recreio, league leaders, by a margin of G shots. By this reverse for the Recreio, the C.C.

G. "A" who won against the K.C.C. moved up to the leading a position, having the same number of points with the Recreio with one match in hand.

Civil Service by virtue of their victory over the C.C.G. “B” broke their “duck” and at the same. time. created the only "double" of the day, while the I.B.G. secured their fourth win of › the season at the expense of the Police by 2 shots.

The Junior leaders, Bowling Green went down to`their near- est rival Recreios by 8 shots. Most of the games played on Saturday were very close affairs with the result that in several instances it was only in the last few heads that decided the two points, as witness the LB.C.—Palice. and Recreio-Bowling Green affair.
